The part 20477518 is a normally-open pneumatic valve repair kit designed for ultra-high-pressure (UHP) Waterjet Intensifier dump valves rated up to 90 000 psi (6 200 bar). This OEM kit contains all internal seal components—O-rings, valve seat, brass and stainless backup rings, valve stem, and bearing disk—to rebuild the dump valve actuator without replacing the entire assembly.
Specifications
Valve Type:Normally-Open Pneumatic Dump Valve
Operating Medium:Clean, dry compressed air (80–100 psi supply)
Valve Body Material:Stainless steel
Seal Material: O-rings, PTFE backup rings
Service Temperature:−20 °C to +80 °C
Kit Weight:~35–50 g
The 20477518 repair kit includes:
Seal Assembly: O-rings and PTFE backup rings for the pneumatic actuator
Valve Seat: Precision-machined seat for leak-free closure
Valve Stem: Flat-end stainless steel stem for reliable actuation
Backup Rings: Brass and stainless steel rings to support seals under extreme pressure
Bearing Disk: Ensures smooth piston movement and seal alignment
Installation & Maintenance
Depressurize System: Fully isolate and relieve hydraulic and pneumatic pressures.
Remove Valve: Unscrew the dump valve assembly from the intensifier manifold and disconnect air lines.
Disassemble: Extract old seals, backup rings, seat, and stem. Inspect valve body for scoring or damage.
Clean & Prepare: Degrease components and actuator bore; verify tolerances per service manual.
Install New Kit: Lubricate O-rings with hydraulic oil, seat backup rings, install valve seat and stem, then press in bearing disk.
Reassemble & Test: Reinstall valve, reconnect air supply, cycle at low pressure to check for leaks, then ramp to full UHP to confirm functionality
