C. Working Principle
1.High-pressure water enters the gemstone's orifice, then is ejected through an extremely small aperture, forming a high-energy water stream. This water stream then enters the mixing chamber (mixed with abrasive sand), where it is then ejected through the sand tube to complete the cut.

1.Ruby/Sapphire: Typical lifespan is 40–100 hours.

2.Synthetic diamond: Lifespan can reach over 500 hours, with consistent precision.
