The Wear Band WS1004 is a precision-engineered guiding and support component used in high-pressure Waterjet Intensifier Pumps, specifically designed to guide the hydraulic piston and plunger assembly within the cylinder bore. Its main function is to prevent metal-to-metal contact, reduce friction, and ensure proper piston alignment during high-speed reciprocating motion under extreme working pressures up to 94,000 psi (6,480 bar).

Manufactured from reinforced PTFE (Teflon) or high-performance composite materials, the WS1004 wear band provides excellent resistance to wear, deformation, and heat buildup.
